Aromas of dark plums, blueberry and blackberry. Savoury smoked meats, black olives and liquorice root integrate with deep dark berry fruit. A textural mid palate of cassis and lifted coffee notes with smooth fine grained tannins and a lovely fruit sweetness on a lingering finish. Pair with beef and quince stew.

The foundations of Irvine Wines were laid with the first Shiraz plantings by the Miles family in 1867. This proud heritage continues today as the family-owned vineyards are carefully nurtured by fourth generation viticulturist Peter Miles and his highly experienced team. Irvine Wines are one of the largest privately-owned premium grape growers in the Barossa with over 400 acres of premium Barossa and Eden Valley vineyards.
