An aromatic vibrant black currant nose with leathery spiced tones. Ripe blackberry and raspberry fruit flavours dominate the palate with some delightful dusty spiced characters late. The oak tannins give a delightfully mellow finish mixed with a spiced bite. Pair with beef Wellington.

Latitude 35 South is owned and run by Bob and Karen Cybula in Denmark, Western Australia, with assistance from their son Matthew and his wife Tamara. Though the pair are from a farming background, the Cybula's had spent much of their working lives owning supermarkets before deciding to return to their roots. They began planting vines in 1998 on an 80 hectare property on Mt. Shadforth and by 2007 had sold their last supermarket, becoming fully invested in the enterprise. Initially Bob and Karen sold their grapes to other winemakers but, in 2004, their very first vintage was released under their own label and they haven't turned back since!
